Cognisense has been specifically formulated to promote and maintain the functional integrity of neural tissue and provide a foundation of support for general brain structure and functioning, including stress response, memory, cognition and neurotransmitter function.

May Help to Support Normal Neurotransmitter Function

The brain constantly produces acetylcholine, dopamine, gamma amino butyric acid (GABA), noradrenaline, adrenaline and other chemicals. Specific amino acids, vitamin and nutrient cofactors are required for the normal function of each neurotransmitter pathway. If the brain receives improper or insufficient amounts of these key nutrient building blocks, we can expect imbalances in neurotransmitters and a subsequent impact on mental health.

Glycine and Taurine are inhibitory neurotransmitters, which modulate excitatory neurotransmission and also participate in the processing of motor and sensory information that permits movement, vision and audition.2, 6, 11

Phosphatidylserine (PS) is thought to be important in cell excitability and communication, regulating a variety of neuroendocrine responses that include the release of acetylcholine, dopamine and noradrenaline.⁹
