We work in partnership with Burke Road Compounding Pharmacy in Camberwell, and most compounded medications are ready for collection within 48–72 hours of receiving your prescription.

Compounding lets us go beyond what's available off the shelf. Whether your medication is discontinued, out of stock, or simply doesn't suit you in its current form, we can help.

When a commercially manufactured medicine is unavailable in Australia, we can compound an equivalent so your treatment isn't interrupted.

What Is Compounding?
Pharmaceutical compounding is the art and science of creating personalised medicines. Our skilled pharmacists take pharmaceutical-grade raw ingredients and formulate them into custom medications — ones that aren't commercially available, have been discontinued, or need to be modified to suit a specific patient's needs.
It's a practice as old as pharmacy itself, and one we've been proud to offer since Blackshaws Road Pharmacy opened its doors in 1968. Today, compounding combines that time-honoured tradition with modern techniques, rigorous quality standards, and close collaboration with your prescribing healthcare professional.
Our Compounding Partnership
To deliver the highest standard of compounded medicines, we work in close partnership with Burke Road Compounding Pharmacy, a specialist compounding pharmacy based in Camberwell. This collaboration allows us to offer the full breadth of compounding services while maintaining exacting quality standards.
For most compounded prescriptions, you can expect your medication to be ready for collection within 48–72 hours of us receiving a valid prescription. Complex formulations may occasionally require additional time — our team will let you know when you send through your script.
