  • Symptomatic relief of upper respiratory tract infections.
  • Contains herbs traditionally used for relieving hayfever.
    • Dose and Administration

    Dose and Administration: MediHerb Sinus Forte

    Adults: 1 tablet 3-4 times daily.

    Children 6-12 years: 1 tablet 1-2 times daily.

    For seasonal respiratory symptoms start treatment 4 to 6 weeks before expected onset.

    Each tablet contains:
    Euphrasia officinalis (Eyebright) extract 1.3mL
    - derived from herb dry 650mg
    Solidago virgaurea (Golden Rod) extract 1.3mL
    - derived from herb dry 650mg
    Echinacea purpurea (Echinacea) extract 740mcL
    - derived from root dry 370mg
    Hydrastis canadensis (Golden Seal) extract 375mcL
    - derived from root & rhizome dry 125mg
    Capsicum annuum (Cayenne) extract 30mcL
    - derived from fruit dry 10mg
    Contraindications and Cautions

    Contraindications and Cautions: MediHerb Sinus Forte

    • Use with caution during pregnancy.
    • The risk of allergic reaction to Echinacea is very small, especially if preparations of the root are used since these are free of pollens.
    • Echinacea is contraindicated for long-term use in patients taking immunosuppressant medication (eg transplant patients) - short-term therapy only is suggested in this instance.
    • Caution is advised in patients receiving midazolam by injection.
    • Caution in those taking theophylline as Cayenne may increase its absorption and bioavailability.
    • Not to be used in children under two years of age without medical advice.
    • Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.

    Additional Therapy: MediHerb Sinus Forte

    • To relieve the symptoms of allergies combine with MediHerb Albizia Complex tablets.
    • For additional immune support consider MediHerb Echinacea Premium tablets and MediHerb Poly-C Powder.
    • For additional support to the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract combine with MediHerb Herbal Throat Spray.
