ResCo Phytosynergist® contains herbs traditionally used in Western herbal medicine for their expectorant, antispasmodic and anticatarrhal activity and relieves inflammation to bronchial mucosa. ResCo Phytosynergist® liquid contains licorice which has been traditionally used in Western herbal medicine for its antitussive action.

Indications
Licorice Root, EuphorbiaandGrindelia are traditionally used in Western herbal medicine:
- for relief of symptoms of catarrh due to bronchial irritation by relieving mucous congestion and soothing bronchial airways
- to support lung health
Licorice Root is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine for the temporary relief of mild bronchial cough
Dose:
Adults: 5 mL with juice or water 3 times daily. Stir well and consume immediately.

Ingredients:
Each 5 mL dose contains:
Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice) extract 1.0ml
derived from root dry 1.0g
Verbascum thapsus (Mullein) extract 1.25ml
derived from leaf dry 625mg
Euphorbia hirta (Euphorbia) extract 745mcl
derived from herb dry 372.5mg
Grindelia camporum (Grindelia) extract 745mcl
derived from herb dry 372.5mg
Inula helenium (Elecampane) extract 745mcl
derived from root dry 372.5mg
Zingiber officinale (Ginger) extract 500mcl
derived from rhizome dry 250mg
Fennel oil (Foeniculum vulgare) 15mcl

Warnings:
Do not use if pregnant or likely to become pregnant.
Contraindicated for use by breastfeeding and lactating women.
Due to methyl chavicol in fennel oil, use in children under 12 years is not recommended.
Due to Licorice: caution is advised in patients receiving prednisolone by injection, in those taking albendazole and in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressives; contraindicated in hypertension and oedema.
Avoid long-term use in patients taking antihypertensive medications, digoxin and potassium-depleting drugs other than thiazide and loop diuretics (such as corticosteroids). Caution is advised in patients taking cilostazol, due to the risk of hypokalaemia. Place patients on a high-potassium diet.
Ginger should be used cautiously in patients taking antacids (it may decrease the effectiveness due to an increase in gastric secretory activity). Caution in those taking crizotinib.
Children under two years of age should not be treated for symptoms of respiratory tract infections without medical advice.
Contains ethanol 46% v/v.
Discontinue 7 days prior to general anesthesia.
