    Indications

    Indications: MediHerb ResCo

    • Traditionally used in Western herbal medicine for relief of symptoms of catarrh and temporary relief of cough due to bronchial irritation by relieving mucous congestion and soothing bronchial airways.
    • Traditionally used in Western herbal medicine for the temporary relief of bronchial cough.
    Dose and Administration

    Dose and Administration: MediHerb ResCo

    Adults: 1 tablet 3-4 times daily.

    Children 6-12 years: 1 tablet 1-2 times daily.

    Not to be used in children under two years of age without medical advice.

    Each tablet contains:
    Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice) extract 143mg
    - derived from root dry 500mg
    Verbascum thapsus (Mullein) extract 940mcL
    - derived from leaf dry 470mg
    Grindelia camporum (Grindelia) extract 560mcL
    - derived from herb dry 280mg
    Euphorbia hirta (Euphorbia) extract 560mcL
    - derived from herb dry 280mg
    Zingiber officinale (Ginger) extract 360mcL
    - derived from rhizome dry 180mg
    Thyme Oil (Thymus vulgaris) 12mg
    Fennel Oil (Foeniculum vulgare) 12mg
    Contraindications and Cautions

    Contraindications and Cautions: MediHerb ResCo

    • Caution during pregnancy, long-term use is not recommended.
    • Due to Licorice: caution is advised in those taking thiazide or loop diuretics and in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressives; contraindicated in hypertension and oedema.
    • Ginger should be used cautiously in patients taking antacids (it may decrease the effectiveness due to an increase in gastric secretory activity).
    • Use in children under 12 years is not recommended.
    • Contains glucose.
    • Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
    Additional Therapy

    Additional Therapy: MediHerb ResCo

    • For the relief of symptoms associated with spasmodic conditions of the respiratory tract combine with MediHerb PulmaCo tablets.
