    • Melissa officinalis (Lemon Balm) has been used in traditional Western herbal medicine for restlessness, irritability and insomnia.
    • MediHerb NeuroSom contains herbs traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as a mild sedative and sleep aid (hypnotic).
    Dose

    Dose: MediHerb NeuroSom

    Adults: 2 tablets 1 to 2 times daily.

    Ingredients: MediHerb NeuroSom

    Each MediHerb NeuroSom tablet contains:
    Melissa officinalis (Lemon Balm) extract 100mg
    - derived from leaf dry 650mg
    Ziziphus jujuba var. spinosa (Zizyphus) extract 65mg
    - derived from seed dry 650mg
    Magnolia officinalis (Magnolia) extract 75mg
    - derived from stem bark dry 600mg
    Lavender oil essential (Lavandula officinalis) 10mg
    Magnesium amino acid chelate (equiv. to Magnesium 40 mg) 200mg
    Pyridoxal 5-phosphate monohydrate (Vitamin B6) (equiv. Pyridoxine 16.5 mg) 25.9mg
    Additional Therapy

    Additional Therapy: MediHerb NeuroSom

    • To promote relaxation and encourage sleep combine with MediHerb Valerian Complex tablets or MediHerb Nervagesic tablets, or to help relieve mild anxiety combined with MediHerb Kava tablets.
    • To provide additional tonic support for the nervous system and to ease the effects of occasional stress consider MediHerb Nevaton Forte tablets, MediHerb St John’s Wort tablets or MediHerb Everyday B Multi tablets.
    • For nutritional support MediHerb Vital Woman tablets.
    • To help cope with stress combine with MediHerb Rhodiola & MediHerb Ginseng tablets or MediHerb Withania Complex tablets.
    • For enhanced digestive function combine with MediHerb DiGest Forte tablets.
    Contraindications and Cautions

    Contraindications and Cautions: MediHerb NeuroSom

    • Contains pyridoxal 5-phosphate which may be dangerous if used in large amounts or for a long time.
    • Patients should be advised to stop taking this medication if they experience tingling, burning or numbness.
    • Caution is advised during pregnancy.
    • Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
    • Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
