Horsechestnut Complex supports healthy blood circulation and relieves leg swelling, itching and pain associated with mild varicose veins.

Feature

  • Reduces and relieves pain, heaviness, itching and swelling in the legs associated with mild varicose veins
  • Horsechestnut and Butcher's broom root is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine for the relief of symptoms of the discomfort, itching and swelling associated with haemorrhoids
  • Assists in the maintenance of peripheral circulation

Dose:

Adults: 1 tablet 2-3 times daily with food.

Enteric-coated tablets. (Take tablet whole, do not break or crush)

Ingredients:

Each tablet contains:
Aesculus hippocastanum (Horsechestnut) extract 200 mg
derived from min. seed dry 1.2 g
standardised to contain escin 38 mg
Ginkgo biloba (Ginkgo) extract 30.5 mg
derived from min. leaf dry 1.5 g
standardised to contain ginkgo flavonglycosides 7.5 mg
Ruscus aculeatus (Butcher's Broom) extract 200 mg
derived from min. root & rhizome dry 800 mg
standardised to contain ruscogenin 20 mg

Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, carmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, ethylcellulose, liquid glucose, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, medium-chain triglycerides, microcrystalline cellulose, oleic acid, polydextrose, purified talc, purified water, sodium starch glycollate, strong ammonia solution.

No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours

Suitable for vegans and vegetarians

Warning:

  1. Contains sugars (60mg per tablet)
  2. Caution in patients taking aspirin, warfarin, cilostazol, antipsychotics such as haloperidol, HIV non-nucleoside transcriptase inhibitors or anticonvulsants. Reduce dose of haloperidol if necessary in conjunction with prescribing physician
  3. Increasing the intake of vitamin B6 may be advisable for patients taking anticonvulsants.
  4. May cause gastric upset in some patients
  5. Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
  6. If the patient's symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
