MediHerb Bacto-Cand GI’s modified release capsules contain high quality extracts of Andrographis standardised to andrographolide and Phellodendron standardised to berberine, along with oregano and anise oil.
Indications
- Andrographis is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine to support healthy digestion, liver function, and gastrointestinal system health.
- Phellodendron is traditionally used in Chinese medicine to reduce loose stools, relieve diarrhoea, resolve dampness, and disperse heat.
- Aniseed essential oil is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as a carminative, relieving flatulence and abdominal bloating.
Dosage and Administration
1-2 capsules 3 times daily, before food.

Allergen Information
No Added: Gluten, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners or flavours.
Excipients
Lecithin, yellow beeswax, rice bran oil, glycerol, gelatin, sorbitol, chlorophyllin-copper complex, purified water, hydrochloric acid, and pectin.
Warnings, Cautions and Contraindications
- Contains sulfites
Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation or if likely to become pregnant
If diarrhoea persists for more than 6 hours in infants under 6 months, 12 hours in children under 3 years, 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years or 48 hours in adults and children over 6 years, seek medical advice
Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet
For short-term use only
Andrographis may cause taste disturbance, including loss of taste, loss of appetite, vomiting and abdominal discomfort
If you develop any adverse symptoms, stop taking the product as soon as possible and seek medical advice
