    • May provide support for and relief of the symptoms of colds, flu and mild upper respiratory infections when taken at the first sign of symptoms.
    • Traditionally used for the relief of the mild fever of cold and flu.
    • Traditionally used to help maintain appetite and digestion.
    • Traditionally used as a liver tonic.
    Ingredients

    Ingredients: MediHerb Andrographis Complex

    Each tablet contains:
    Andrographis paniculata (Andrographis) extract 142.9 mg
    derived from leaf dry 2g
    standardised to contain andrographolide 50mg
    Ocimum tenuiflorum (Holy Basil) extract 100mg
    derived from herb dry 500 mg
    Echinacea purpurea (Echinacea) extract 600mcL
    derived from root dry 300 mg
    standardised to alkylamides 1.2mg
    Echinacea angustifolia (Echinacea) extract 400mcL
    derived from root dry 200mg
    standardised to alkylamides 0.8mg
    Ocimum tenuiflorum (Holy Basil) herb essential oil 10 mg

    Additional Therapy

    Additional Therapy: MediHerb Andrographis Complex

    • For additional immune support combine with MediHerb Echinacea Premium tablets, MediHerb Mushroom Forte tablets or liquid, or MediHerb Zinc Protect tablets.
    • For relief of symptoms associated with dry, sore throats consider MediHerb Herbal Throat Spray.
    • To help reduce the severity and duration of colds combine with MediHerb Poly-C Powder.
    • For additional immune support and to help relieve respiratory tract infections including colds combine with MediHerb Zinc-C Powder.
    • For additional antiviral activity combine with MediHerb Vira-Immune Complex tablets.
    • For relief of the symptoms of upper respiratory catarrh, hay fever and sinusitis consider MediHerb Sinus Forte tablets.
    Dose and Administration

    Dose and Administration: MediHerb Andrographis Complex

    Adults: 1 tablet 2-4 times daily. Dosage can be increased to 6 tablets daily temporarily for acute conditions.

    Children 6-12 years: 1 tablet 1-2 times daily.

    Contraindications and Cautions

    Contraindications and Cautions: MediHerb Andrographis Complex

    • Contraindicated during pregnancy.
    • Echinacea is contraindicated for long-term use in patients taking immunosuppressant medication (eg transplant patients) - short-term therapy only is suggested in this instance.
    • Caution is advised in patients receiving midazolam.
    • Contraindicated in those with known allergy to Andrographis or to andrographolides.
    • The risk of allergic reaction to Echinacea is very small, especially when preparations of the root are used (as these are free of pollen).
    • Not to be used in children under five years of age without medical advice.
    • Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
