Descriptions:
Livton® is a combination of herbs traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to support the natural detoxification processes of the gastrointestinal system.
Indications
St. Mary's Thistle and Globe Artichoke are traditionally used in Western herbal medicine:
- to support the natural detoxification processes of the gastrointestinal system
- as a cholagogue to promote bile production and secretion
- to support digestive system health and assist body waste elimination
St. Mary's Thistle is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine:
- as a hepatoprotective to enhance liver health
- to reduce symptoms of indigestion, including relief of intestinal gas, flatulence, digestive spasms, bloating and feeling of fullness
Dose:
1 tablet 3 - 4 times daily
Ingredients
Each tablet contains:
Silybum marianum(St Mary's Thistle) extract 114.3 mg
derived from min. seed dry 8.0 g
standardised to contain flavonolignans calculated as silybin 80 mg
Cynara scolymus(Globe Artichoke) extract 200 mg
derived from leaf dry 800 mg
Taraxacum officinale(Dandelion) extract 800 mcL
derived from root dry 400 mg
Bupleurum falcatum(Bupleurum) extract 600 mcL
derived from root dry 400 mg
Chionanthus virginica(Fringe Tree) extract 320 mcL
derived from stem bark dry 160mg
Allergen Information
No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds, artificial colours or flavours.
Vegan and Vegetarian friendly.
Excipients
Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.
Warnings:
Use cautiously during pregnancy.
Globe Artichoke is contraindicated in blockage of the gallbladder.
In anaemia and cases where iron supplementation is required, do not take it simultaneously with meals or iron supplements.
Not to be taken at the same time with immunosuppressive drugs, and caution is advised in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressive drugs.
Caution in patients taking metronidazole, ornidazole, methadone and nifedipine.
Contraindicated in patients taking domperidone.
Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
