Ingredients

Ingredients: MediHerb GIT Regenex

Each 6.15 g dose contains:
Glutamine 3.5g
Acacia spp. (gum) 2.0g
Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice) extract 73mg
- derived from root dry 2.0g
- containing glycyrrhizin not more than 0.4 mg and glabridin not less than  2.5mg
Ulmus rubra (Slippery Elm) stem bark powder 500mg
Polaprezinc (Zinc carnosine) (equiv. to Zinc 16 mg) 75mg
Dose and Administration

Dose and Administration: MediHerb GIT Regenex

Adults: Take 6.15 g of powder (2 level metric teaspoons) mixed in 150-200 mL of water or juice, 2 times daily, preferably with meals. Stir well and drink immediately.

Contraindications and Cautions

Contraindications and Cautions: MediHerb GIT Regenex

  • Contraindicated in intestinal obstruction.
  • Contains Zinc which may be dangerous if taken in large amounts or for a long period.
  • Caution in patients with epilepsy/seizure disorders.
  • High doses of glutamine should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.
  • Consume at least 2 hours away from ingestion of medications, including tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates (osteoporosis drugs) or thyroid hormone.
  • Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
  • Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
