BiomeClear is a Scobiotic® blend to help support healthy liver function and assist natural body detoxification. Warnings:
- Do not take while on warfarin therapy without medical advice. This medicine contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
- Blue-green algae such as spirulina may stimulate the immune system and may theoretically exacerbate autoimmune diseases by stimulating disease activity.
- Milk thistle and marigold may cause allergic reactions in individuals sensitive to the Asteraceae family.
- The ingredients in this product are generally well-tolerated. Some ingredients such as milk thistle, spirulina, artichoke and some medicinal mushrooms have been associated with mild gastrointestinal adverse effects.
- Milk thistle and marigold may cause rare allergic reactions in people sensitive to the Asteraceae family, including urticaria, eczema, skin rash and potentially, anaphylaxis.
- Safety of use of this product in pregnancy and lactation has not been established. There is insufficient available safety information for some ingredients.
